4.6 Switching off the signal transmitter / vibration
The sound signal generator and the vibration of the voltage tester
can be switched off as required. To turn these features off, press
the power button for about 3 seconds when the device is turned on
or in use. If this is done at power up, the green LED turns on after
about 3 seconds and the features are disabled. If this operation is
carried out during operation, the deactivated functions can be
recognized by switching off the green LED for approx. 1 second and
then lighting it again. It is also possible to reactivate the features
during operation. The on / off button must be pressed again for
approx. 3 seconds. When activated again, the voltage tester beeps
and vibrates briefly.

5. Replacing the batteries

To change the batteries, the cap must be removed, which has a
screwable. After removing the battery protection cap, place the
batteries properly (see illustration) in the voltage tester. When
screwing on the cap again, make sure that the contact surfaces and
the contact springs are properly connected.
