is changed to 12 - 1000V AC, this is signaled by a yellow light of the
test probe. After the "12V" button is not pressed further, the voltage
tester automatically switches back to the measuring range 100 -
1000V.
4.3 Battery status indicator
If the battery voltage is too low to perform a reliable measurement,
a three beeping when you turn on the device signals this.
Furthermore the green LED, which is located in the probe, switches
off again after being switched on. Refer to item 5. Replacing the
Batteries for the correct procedure (See pages 9-10) for how to
replace the batteries.
4.4 Automatic shutdown
An automatic switch-off is integrated in the voltage tester, which
switches off the device after approx. 5 minutes of inactivity. When
turned off, a beep sounds twice and the unit vibrates twice.
4.5 Flashlight
The built-in flashlight is not only suitable for measuring operation,
but also can be used as a normal flashlight replacement.
It is possible to use the flashlight even if the meter is turned off and
not in use. It is switched on by pressing the flashlight button once
and by pressing the button again, it is switched off.
When the device is switched on, the light in the probe starts to light
up automatically. This feature makes it easier for the user to
measure by additional illumination of the object to be measured.
ATTENTION!
Motion generates static voltages. The voltage tester can respond to these static voltages
by briefly flashing the LED and briefly sounding the buzzer. This behavior is normal and
does not represent a device defect.
