must never be installed with the radiating elements
close to or facing towards curtains, beds or other
objects or materials that are liable to burn easily;
always ensure that these objects are at a suitable
minimum distance, to avoid any risk of fire or heat
damage.
• Never use the appliance in combination with
programming devices, timers or other devices that
will switch it on and off automatically
• The appliance's safety guard has been specially
designed to prevent direct access to the heater
elements; this guard must be kept in position at all
times during operation.

Equipment

Appliances in the Thermologika Soleil series are
supplied complete with:
- cable mod H05V2V2F capable of resisting a
temperature of 90° C
- adjustable bracket for wall and ceiling mounting
(fig.2)
- stainless steel front grill;
- additional elastomer capsules: 2 for each lamp.
Selecting of the installation
position
Never install the TS near to or facing towards
inflammable surfaces.
TS must be positioned at a distance of not less than 2
m from objects made of flammable materials, such as
cardboard or fabric, and from glass doors and
windows.
When the appliance is installed in environments (e.g.
workshops or car parks) containing flammable or
combustible substances (paints, solvents, etc.), TS
must be positioned at a distance of not less than 4 m
from the source of danger.
TS is not indicated for installation in extremely dusty
environments, in which the bulb might be damaged.

Installation and adjustment of

When mounting the appliance on a wall, it must be
positioned at a minimum distance of 20 cm from the
ceiling and 32 cm from the side walls (fig. 3).
The height from the floor may range (fig. 3).
When mounting the appliance on the ceiling it must be
positioned at a minimum distance of 32 cm. from the
side walls.
Adjust the TS reflector so that it points in the direction
of the area to be heated. Maximum heating efficiency
is obtained with an inclination of 45°.

When mounting inside a bathroom, always respect the
minimum distances from showers and baths, and
ensure compliance with IPX5. Furthermore, the
commands to adjust the appliance and turn it on and
off must not be within reach of the shower or bath.
The model Thermologika Soleil 1500 is compatible, in
compliance with the safety restrictions listed in this
document, with horizontal installation on vertical posts
driven into the ground, with a diameter of 66 mm and
100 mm, using the respective fixing devices (optional
accessories: fig.4)

Utilization

To turn the appliance on and off, use the switch to
which the TS has been connected during installation.
In the case of appliances mod. 3000 and 3000 Vertical
connected to a Power Regulator (optional accessory)
the appliance is turned on and off and the power
delivered is regulated (19% - 100%) using the
respective commands on the Regulator.

Cleaning

From time to time, remove dust from the disk and bulb
using a clean brush or a jet of compressed air, so as
to guarantee that TS provides maximum heating
efficiency at all times.

Changing the bulb

WARNING The TS guarantee does not cover
replacement or repair of the bulb
To change the bulb, follow the instructions given
below in the order indicated:
- disconnect the appliance from the power supply;
- unfasten the screw (2 screws: mod. 3000, 3000
Vertical) holding the front frame of the appliance; (fig.
5,6)
- remove the protective grille; (fig.7)
- use a size 5 socket wrench to remove the two nuts
locking the disk unit, and extract the latter from the
heater; (fig.8,9,10)
- Unscrew the 2 screws fixing the metal guards set at
the ends of the parabolic dish and remove them
both; (fig.11)
- disconnect the bulb from the retention clips and
remove the thermoelastic caps, at the ends, so as to
free the cable-lamp faston connectors; (fig.12,13,14)
- remove the cable-lamp connectors, freeing the bulb;
(fig.15)
- the thermoelastic capsules must be soft to the
touch; if this is the case they can be used again.
Should the capsules have become crystallised they
must be removed, taking care not to damage the
power cables, and replaced with new ones
(supplied); (fig.16,17,18)
- reconnect the two faston couplings insulating the
connection, and reposition the thermoelastic
capsules; (fig.19)
- replace the bulb, with the ends protected by the
thermoelastic capsules, between the retention clips;
(fig.20)
