For maximum safety, the electronic circuit which controls the
various functions prevents from start the sanitation cycle when a
hydromassage is in progress and vice versa.
STARTING THE SANITATION CYCLE
The very last step of installation consists in filling the specific tank
fixed to the metal frame of the tub with disinfectant. Use the funnel
provided to make the operation easier. The tank has a capacity of
over 1 litre and is connected with a tube to the inlet on the edge of
the tub concealed by the flap or cap (F) (
We recommend the use of J-MX 07 disinfectant, suggested by
Jacuzzi®, which can be found at Jacuzzi® Service Centres and
Authorised Retail.
I To start the sanitation cycle, hold the button (D) (
pressed for approximately 4 seconds (this will prevent starting the
cycle accidentally).
I Operate the adjustment knobs on the face plate (A) to shut off
the air: this will prevent forming foam while the pump is running.
Also check that all the hydromassage nozzles are open.
I The cycle will be carried out in a sequence of steps which are
needed for complete, effective sanitation:
- At start-up, the pump comes on and pumps a preset amount of J-
MX 07 liquid into the water circuit.
- Once the liquid has been pumped into the circuit, the pump
continues to run for the time needed to distribute the liquid
thoroughly throughout the entire water circuit. It then shuts down
and allows the liquid to act and sanitise the circuit. About one
minute prior to the end of the cycle, the pump starts up again for a
vigorous rinse. Then the cycle ends as programmed.
I The various sequences of the sanitation cycle are shown on
the face plate by means of the LEDs (E) and (C):
- LED (E) indicates that the cycle was been activated and will stay
on for the entire duration of the cycle.
- The LED (C) will light up as soon as the pump starts and will go out
when the pump stops.
I The cycle is entirely automatic and will last for approximately
10 minutes. It can only be stopped by cutting off the electricity
(master switch installed upstream of the tub).
I The LEDs (E) and (C) will go out at the end of the sanitation
cycle: the tub can now be emptied.
