On delivery, the station address is set to 3. Switch S2 is set to 3 and switch S1 to 0.
9.3

Changing the address

An address change will not be effective during operation!
The bus coupler will continue to work with the previous address.
Never change the address during operation.
Disconnect the bus coupler from the power supply UL before changing the positions of
switches S1 and S2.
9.4

Terminating the bus

If the device is the last participant in the PROFIBUS DP chain, you must connect a CN2 series data
termination plug (male, M12x1, 4-pin, B-coded). The material number is 8941054064.
The data termination plug creates a defined line termination and prevents line reflections. It also
ensures compliance with the protection class IP65.
