Remote control battery
The remote control is supplied with a battery. Please remove any protective strip from
the battery's terminal before using for the first time.
Changing the battery
1. Press the battery compartment's catch to
the side and pull the battery holder forwards
out of the remote control.
2. Insert a new battery (CR2032), ensuring that
the + (positive) terminal on the battery is facing
you as shown in the illustration.
3. Place the battery holder holder back into
the remote control.
Operating instructions
Switch the Bluetooth speaker on
1. Connect the plug to a wall outlet. [
2. Press [ ] on the speaker or remote to turn the speaker on. The speaker will turn
on either in Bluetooth or AUX mode, depending on the mode that was last used.
The speaker will always start in BT mode if the mains lead is disconnected from
the wall socket when started.

Function selection

Press the [ MODE ] button on the speaker or the remote to select Bluetooth or
AUX mode. The selected function will be displayed by the LED indicator (9).
Connecting a device via Bluetooth
1. Switch the speaker on.
2. Press [ MODE ] until the LED indicator (9) shows that Bluetooth has been activated.
The speaker will emit an audio prompt and the LED indicator will begin flashing,
indicating that the speaker is now ready for pairing with other Bluetooth devices.
3. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
4. The speaker will appear as "BTspeakerN" on your device, select this option to
connect your device to the speaker. Refer to the instruction manual of your device
for further clarification. Note: If you are prompted to enter a PIN code, enter 0000
(four noughts). Certain devices may even require the connection to be approved.
5. The speaker will emit an audible signal and the LED indicator will shine a steady
blue once contact has been established.
6. Playback is controlled either from the speaker itself or the remote control.
7. Any newly connected devices will automatically connect to the speaker the next
time if they are on and within range (10 m) of the speaker.
