Carburettor adjustment
YOU MAY ADJUST THE IDLE SPEED ONLY by turning the idle speed adjustment screw(T).
You must NOT carry out any Carburettor adjustment, other than the idle speed. All other adjustments MUST be per-
formed by an authorized service dealer, or serious personal injury may result due to malfunction of the engine.
When there is trouble with the carburettor, contact an authorized service dealer.

Maintenance and care

Clean air filter (A) after each use.
1.
Close choke and loosen screws.
2.
Remove air cleaner cover (B) and air filter.
3.
Then check and/or clean air filters by washing in a suitable
solvent when heavily soiled.
4.
Dry filters before reinstalling.
If filter is excessive dirty or no longer fits properly, replace it.
A clogged fuel filter will cause hard starting or poor engine
performance.
Keep fuel tank clean - do not allow dirt or debris to enter fuel
tank.

Use a piece of metal wire or the like to pick up fuel filter (A)
through fuel tank opening.
2.
Pull old filter from fuel line (B).
3.
Install new fuel filter.
4.
Make sure fuel filter goes to bottom of the tank.
WARNING
CAUTION
Do not adjust the carburettor unless necessary.
If idling adjustment is required, turn adjustment screw located
a backpack side of carburettor. - When turning it anticlockwise,
engine speed is reduced.
When the unit is not to be used for a long time, drain fuel out
from fuel tank and carburettor.
NOTE
When the carburettor cannot be adjusted properly with the idle
speed adjustment screw (T), you must contact an authorized
service dealer.
