Removing an accessory from
Gateway
• Select Yes in the SmartControl line and place the
cursor in the line for the accessory that is to be
removed from the wireless system.
• Press the OK button (' Pair' is shown on the line) and
then use the down arrow button to move to position
' Remove '. Coni rm using the OK button.
The accessory has now been removed from the
system.
Example
In the example shown on the right, the combined
sensor (temperature/humidity/carbon dioxide) has been
connected to the system via channel 1. The description
"435D" corresponds to the last four hexadecimal digits of
the sensor's product ID and it is unique to each accessory.
The solid bars shows the signal strength between the
sensor and Gateway. If a repeater is used to amplify
the sensor signal, the bars will instead represent the
reception between the repeater and Gateway. The i gure
14 represents the time in seconds since the sensor last
reported to the base unit.
In addition, two multi-buttons (ID: 2EAE and 110B: Button
2-channel ) have been dei ned on channels 4 and 5.

In this example, the function Reduced ventilation (Vent.
Reduced ) is linked to position B on the button (ID:
2EAE) that has been dei ned in channel 4 in the Dei ne
SmartControl menu.
The function starts when you press the button to position
B. Pressing A (opposite position) instead activates the
ventilation mode Forced (Vent. Forced) . Ventilation returns
to Normal mode or Customised after a run-on time of 30
min (factory setting).
The function Away mode (Vent. Away ) is connected to
the button (ID: 110B) that has been dei ned in channel 5.
The function starts when you press the button to position
A and stops when you press B (opposite position). This
function does not have a run-on time and can therefore
only be stopped manually.
