If the appliance is to be operated in
a non European country, check on
the rating plate whether the indicated
voltage and current type correspond
to the values of your mains supply.
The rating plate is situated in the
bottom left hand side of the appliance.
The mains connection cable may
be replaced by an electrician only.

Never connect the appliance to
electronic energy saver plugs
(e.g. Ecoboy: Sava Plug) or to power
inverters which convert the direct
current to 230 V alternating current
(e.g. solar equipment, power supplies
on ships).
Switching on
the appliance

Refrigerator and freezer compart
ments can be switched on separately.
S To switch on the refrigerator compart
ment, press the G On/Off button (1).
The light inside the refrigerator compart
ment comes on when the door is
opened.
S Press the On/Off button (2) G to switch
on the freezer compartment.

Switching on the
appliance for the first
time
When the appliance has been connected
and switched on, a selection field for
setting the language is displayed.
The standard factory setting is English.
S Acknowledge with ok.
A few seconds after the language has
been selected, a friendly greeting is
displayed. After 10 seconds this display
automatically switches to the standard
display of your appliance.
