Observe ambient
temperature and
ventilation
The climatic class can be found on
the rating plate (Fig. e) and indicates
the ambient temperatures at which
the appliance can be operated.

The air which is heated on the rear panel
and the side panels must be able to
escape unobstructed. Otherwise the
refrigerating unit must work harder,
increasing the power consumption.
Therefore, never cover the ventilation
openings.
The appliance must be free standing.
There must be a 3 cm gap between the
wall and adjacent furniture.
Connecting
the appliance
After installing the appliance, wait at least.
½ hour before switching on the appliance.
During transportation the oil in the
compressor may have flowed into the
refrigeration system.
To enable your refrigerator to be used
with serve@Home, you will require
a special accessory, the system interface,
which is available from specialist outlets.
The system interface must be inserted
into the slot at the rear of your refrigerator.
Follow the installation instructions
enclosed with the system interface.
Before switching on the appliance for the
first time, clean the interior (see Cleaning).
The socket should be freely accessible.
Connect the appliance to 220-240 V/
50 Hz alternating current via a correctly
installed earthed socket. The socket must
be fused with a 10 A fuse or higher.
