Distance to the wall
Mount the wall spacers on the upper part of the
condenser (corrugated plate on the rear side).
These prevent the unit from leaning on the wall.
Alignment of the unit
Make sure that the refrigerator is standing in a stable
horizontal position on the floor. Use the two
adjustable feet at the front to align the unit
horizontally.
There may be an odour the first time the
unit is switched on. This odour disappears
as soon as cooling starts.
If the unit is operating and the door of the
freezer compartment is opened and then
closed, the suction on the seal is so strong
that for a short period, it will be difficult to
open the door. This is not a malfunction
because it ensures that the door is properly
closed. The door can be opened again quite
easily after a short stabilisation time.
