The refrigerator compartment automatically
defrosts while the unit is operating. The melted
water is collected in the evaporation tray where it
evaporates.
Clean the melt water drainage channel and the
drainage hole in the refrigerator compartment
frequently so that the melted water can drain away
easily. To do so, use a suitable pointed instrument.
You can also pour ½ glass of water into the
drainage pipe.
Remove the layer of frost regularly. To do so, use
the plastic scraper. Clean the freezer compartment
at least 2 times a year, as already described for the
refrigerator compartment.
Set the thermostat to the position MAX one day
before defrosting in order to completely freeze all
goods.
Wrap all frozen goods in newspaper and then store
them in a cool place until the unit has defrosted.
Due to the extreme increase in temperature, the
lifetime of the frozen goods is shortened so that
they should be consumed as soon as possible.
Set the thermostat to the 0 position or pull the plug
