1 Important safety and environmental instructions
• When cooking appliances are run-
ning, their accessible parts may be
hot.
• This product is not intended for
use by persons (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of ex-
perience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning the use
of the product by a person res-
ponsible for their safety.
• When the installation of the hood
for electric hobs is complete, there
should be a minimum distance of
65 cm between the appliance and
electric hobs.
• The hood outlet must not be con-
nected to air channels that include
other smoke.
• Care must be taken when the
appliance is used with devices
that use air and fuel (e.g. heaters;
water heaters that are operated
with gas, diesel fuel, coal, wood;
or water heaters) in the same en-
vironment. This may adversely
affect combustion since the hood
discharges the air in the environ-
ment.
• This warning does not cover the
use without flue.
• The ventilation in the room may
be insufficient when the hood for

electric hob is used simultaneo-
usly with the devices operating
on gas or other fuels (this may not
apply to appliances that only disc-
harge the air back into the room).
1.1 Compliance with the WEEE
Directive and disposal of the
waste product
This product does not include harmful or
prohibited materials specified in the
"Regulation for Supervision of the Waste
Electric and Electronic Appliances" issued by the
Ministry of Environment and Urbanisation.
Conforms to the WEEE Regulation. This product
has been made from high-quality parts and mate-
rials which can be recycled and re-used. Therefore,
do not throw the product away with household
and other waste at the end of its life. Take it to a
collection point for recycling electrical and elect-
ronic devices. Contact local authorities for the col-
lection points in your region. Help protect the en-
vironment and natural resources by recycling
used products.
