Installing SIM card:
1.
Carefully slide the holder to one side.
2. Fold up the holder, then place the SIM card into the card
holder cover.
If you want NIBE SMS 40 to send SMSs in the event of
a power cut, carry out the following:
• Install an alkaline 9V battery on the circuit board in
NIBE SMS 40.
• Position the jumper according to the image below.

Caution
The pin code must be deactivated and if it is
pay as you go there must be credits on the
card.
Quick start guide
Program setting of NIBE SMS 40 can be performed via
the start guide or directly in the menu system.
1. Start the heat pump/indoor module and select NIBE
SMS 40 in menu 5.2 "system settings" (menu 5.2.4
"accessories" for NIBE F1345, F1355, VVM 225,
VVM 310, VVM 320, VVM 325 and VVM 500).
2. Go to menu 4.1.4 in your heat pump/indoor module
(menu 5.3.5 if your heat pump/indoor module has
software version 2041 or earlier) and add the mobile
numbers that are to have access to change and re-
ceive status information from the heat pump/indoor
module. Mobile numbers must include country code
e.g. +46XXXXXXXX.
