Cautions

outlet pinch clamp (

Setup/Connections
Warning: Always follow sterile protocol when handling sterile connections.
Inflow Cassette Tubing (blue; single-patient use only)

1 Align the blue side of the cassette (
2 Insert the cassette. Push with your thumb until it clicks into place.
3 Close the spike pinch clamps (
4 Discard the protective caps from the spikes (
5 Discard the protective cap from the blue luer (
6 Open the spike pinch clamps (
7 Refer to the CrossFlow Integrated Arthroscopy Pump instructions for
use for priming, operation, and calibration instructions.
8 Close the pinch clamp (
9 Connect the blue luer (
10 Open the pinch clamp (
Outflow Cassette Tubing (red; single-patient use only)

1 Align the red side of the cassette (
2 Insert the cassette. Push with your thumb until it clicks into place.
3 If using a cannula for outflow, discard the protective cap from the tube
marked
4 If using a shaver handpiece for outflow, connect the suction fitting of
the tube marked
5 If using a suction RF probe for outflow, connect the suction fitting of
the tube marked
Warning: Ensure outflow tubing is connected to the appropriate
device. The pump will not operate properly when devices are not
connected to appropriate tubing.
6 Route the waste line (
7 Close pinch clamps on any unused tubes(
Removal
1 Stop the pump.
2 Close all pinch clamps.
3 Disconnect tubing from hardware/devices.
4 Eject Inflow and/or Outflow Cassette(s).
5 Discard Cassettes and Tubing appropriately.
