1. Introduction
Read through this user manual completely and carefully and while doing so
fold out page 3 with the illustrations. The user manual is an integral part of
the product and contains important information about operation and
handling. Always observe all the safety instructions. If you have any
questions or are unsure about using the equipment, ask a specialist or obtain
information on line at www.pentatech.de. Keep this manual in a safe place
and pass it on to third parties if necessary.

2. Proper use

The wireless Alarm System 3000 Set F3 consists of the indoor siren 3000IS
with mains adapter, a wireless-PIR-detector 3000P, a wireless door/window
contact 3000M and two remote controls 3000R.
The wireless PIR-detector serves to monitor interior rooms. It detects
movement of warm objects (eg. persons) day and night. Upon detection it
sends a wireless signal to the siren.
The wireless door/window contact serves to monitor doors and windows.
When a monitored door or window is opened the unit sends a wireless signal
to the siren.
The siren receives the alarm signals from the detectors and if it is armed the
siren warns acoustically and visually (flashes).
The system is armed and disarmed using the remote control 3000R. An
alarm can be manually activated by pressing the panic button.
It is possible to partially arm the system. In this case certain detectors can be
deactivated when the dwelling is occupied. Detectors in entrance/exit area
can operate with a delay, in order to allow comfortable operation of the
system.
The system can be extended by adding optional accessories. Up to 5 remote
controls 3000R and a total of 20 detectors (3000P or 3000M) can be
enrolled to thr siren.
The 3000 Set F3 can be combined with the GSM-Wireless alarm system
3000 Set F4.
The power supply
! of the siren 3000IS is through the delivered mains adapter, connected
to a 230 V AC, 50Hz mains outlet
! of the remote control 3000R is through the delivered lithium battery
CR2025
! of the PIR-detector 3000P is through two alkaline 1.5 V AA (LR6)
batteries (not included)
! of the door/window contact 3000M is through one alkaline 1.5 V AA
(LR6) battery (not included)
The components are for indoor use in private households.
Any other use or modification of the equipment is not authorised and
presents significant risks of accident. No liability will be accepted for
consequential damages or for damages caused by improper use or incorrect
operation.
This equipment is not suitable for use by persons (including children) with
limited physical, sensory, or mental abilities or with lacking experience or
lacking knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or obtain instructions on how to use the equipment. Children
must be supervised to make sure they do not play with the equipment.
