damage during donning and doffing.
Ensure Icecast Bladder is not inverted when not in use to minimize risk
of damage.
Excessive pressure can cause damage to the chambers; follow the
pressure chart guidelines and avoid exceeding the stated values (Fig. 3).
Do not inflate Icecast Bladder to above 100 mmHg.
CLEANING
Use lukewarm soapy water or alcohol to clean the device on both the
inside and outside.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR OPERATION
To produce consistent results with the Direct Socket Tool Kit, perform the
following steps:
1. Connect Icecast Pump nozzle into Icecast Bladder valve. A proper
connection is achieved when pump audibly clicks into place.
2. Inflate Icecast Bladder to a chamber pressure of 20 mmHg. If
overinflated, release air by pressing black Air Release Button below
pressure gauge.
3. Invert Icecast Bladder by rolling it back.
4. Attach inner end of Icecast Bladder to Distal Attachment (Fig. 1).
5. Keeping Icecast Pump aligned straight with long axis of the residual
limb and knee, roll Icecast Bladder over the residual limb (Fig. 2).
6. If resistance occurs, slightly deflate the Icecast Bladder for easier
donning while rolling on. Deflating slightly lessens excessive
elongation and avoids excessive pressure build-up.
7. Inflate Icecast Bladder to correct pressure level (Fig. 3).

8. Disconnect Icecast Pump from Icecast Bladder and wait 10 minutes
for material to cure.
9. Deflate and remove Icecast Bladder from the residual limb (Fig. 4).
DISPOSAL
All components of the product and packaging should be disposed of in
accordance with respective national environmental regulations. Users
should contact their local governmental office for information on how
these items can be disposed of in an environmentally sound manner.
