Installing the profile c ylinder
Prerequisite: The mortise lock must be completely installed.
Observe the installation instructions with figures ("Figures", page 58).
An optional change of the cam position is possible with profile cylinders
("Optional: Changing the position of the locking cam", page 59).
1 Insert the profile cylinder into the profile cylinder cutout.
2 Fix the profile cylinder in place with the fixing screw.
The supplied fixing screw is suitable for locks with a backset up to
50 mm. For locks with a larger backset applies:
Length of fixing screw = backset size + 10 mm.
3 Only hand-tighten the cylinder fixing screw.
4 Test the locking cylinder for correct function and ease of movement.
For this purpose, actuate the locking cylinder several times with the
appropriate key.
 You have installed the profile cylinder.
