Work on the door leaf: For work on the door leaf, such as drilling or
cutting, the VERSO CLIQ ® mechatronic locking cylinder and the mortise lock
must be removed.
Protect from penetration of dirt, chips and moisture: The VERSO CLIQ ®
mechatronic locking cylinder can be damaged from penetrating chips or
dirt. When installed outdoors and in dusty environments, the locking
cylinder must be protected with an SuR cap from ASSA ABLOY after
assembly.
Application of force can destroy the locking cylinder: The application
of force, e.g. striking with a hammer, can damage or destroy the locking
cylinder.
Tension-free installation: The VERSO CLIQ ® mechatronic locking cylinder
must be installed tension-free according to the installation situation.
Therefore, only screw in the cylinder fixing screw hand-tight.
The VERSO CLIQ ® mechatronic locking cylinder must be installed in
the appropriate size: The VERSO CLIQ ® mechatronic locking cylinder is
produced in multiple cylinder lengths ("Technical data", page 26).
Before installation, make sure that the VERSO CLIQ ® mechatronic locking
cylinder is in the size matching the door leaf thickness. The VERSO CLIQ ®
mechatronic locking cylinder may not protrude more than 3 mm beyond
the fitting surface.
Installation and adjustments according to DIN EN 15684: All com-
ponents must be installed and adjusted in a manner which ensures
conformity with DIN EN 15684.
