Plug the router into the telephone socket
> Check whether your existing connection is a MultiLINE ISDN
connection with more than one phone number and whether you are
using an ISDN network termination device (ISDN-NT)*. Proceed as follows:
Existing connection is not a MultiLINE ISDN connection
> Follow the "Copper" instructions on page 22.
Existing connection is a MultiLINE ISDN connection
> Follow the "MultiLINE ISDN Copper" diagram on page 26.
* Note: Several analogue and ISDN telephones are connected
to the ISDN network termination device (ISDN-NT).
2. Starting your router
Now switch the router on. Wait until the Internet and power LEDs on the router are
constantly white (this can take 10 minutes or more). Only then is the router ready for use.

Tip: By placing the router in an upright position, you can prevent it overheating and
achieve better WLAN coverage.
3. Connecting a PC/laptop to the router
Switch on your PC/laptop and ensure that it is connected to the router with the Ethernet cable
(white cable with yellow plugs). Your computer is now connected to the Internet via the Centro
Business router. Instructions on setting up your WLAN can be found on the next page.
4. Registration
When you first launch your browser, the Swisscom registration page will open automatically.
Fill in the obligatory fields step by step. You will find information about this in your Swisscom
documentation. You have now finished the installation process. Congratulations!
Fixed-network (IP) telephone services should be available in the next 15 minutes.
If not, switch your router off and on again.

Phone number setup and router settings
> You can enter your telephone and WLAN settings directly on the router or in the
Swisscom Customer Centre at www.swisscom.ch/customercentre.
> In order to enter settings directly on the router, connect your computer to the Centro
Business router using the Ethernet cable. After entering the URL http://192.168.1.1
in your Internet browser, you can adjust your router and fixed-network telephony (IP)
settings.
> You can also find detailed instructions on setting up telephone numbers and router
settings at www.swisscom.ch/centrobusiness.
Was the installation successful?
Test whether the installation was successful by checking the following:
> Are the power and Internet LEDs white?
> If you are using fixed-network (IP) telephony: is the telephone LED on the router white?
> If you have installed telephones: make a phone call.
> Are web pages in your browser correctly displayed?
> If you have installed a TV: switch on the TV and setup box and check whether you can
receive the required channels.
Were all the tests successful? If so, you have completed the installation.
