Before you start

Assembly
Read the operator's manual carefully to ensure that you assemble the product correctly.
Using a product that has been incorrectly assembled could lead to an accident or serious injury.

Before you start
Tools required:
4 mm hexagonal wrench, Screw driver.
Parts required:
Power head with drive shaft assembly and gear box with blade
assembly.
1. Slide the gear box with blade assembly on the drive shaft. Be
certain the flex drive shaft engages the hole in driver gear.
2. Align the screw with the locating hole in the drive shaft hous-
ing, tighten screw and bolt.
Wear heavy duty gloves when working with the hedge
clipper blades. When replacing the hedge clipper
blades during a trimming task, ensure that the engine is
switched off and that the blades have stopped.
Ensure that the fuel tank cap is securely in place.
Failure to do so could lead to an injury or serious accident,
or cause a fire.
IMPORTANT
Do not install the handle to be located farther from you than the
arrow mark ( ) and the safety decals.
