Installing the water drain hose

(optional)

WARNING!
Risk of scalding!
Securely attach the water drain hose
■
to a drain or bath to prevent it from
slipping due to the recoil caused by
pumping.
When connecting to a drain, ensure
■
that the cross section of the dis-
charge pipe is large enough that the
drain does not overflow.
NOTICE
Risk of damage to property!
Use only the included water drain
■
hose.
Do not extend the water drain hose
■
or replace it with another hose.
Do not kink or twist the water drain
■
hose.
The utility sink should be no more
■
than 120 cm above the ground to
ensure that water can be drained off
properly.
The distance between the water drain
■
hose and the utility sink should not
exceed 100 cm.
The end of the hose must not be sub-
■
merged in the water that has been
pumped out.
If you connect the water drain hose (b), re-
sidual water from the dryer will be drained off
directly through the hose and will no longer
end up in the condensate container .
It may happen that the symbol
even if the drain hose is connected . In this
case, make sure that the drain hose is rout-
ed correctly (not kincked and not positioned
above 120 cm) .
1 . Detach the water hose on the rear of the
appliance .

2 . Connect the water drain hose to the water
hose by inserting the connector (c) into
the ends on both the hoses .
