Assembling the DIN 25-pin Plug

Preparing the cable

Insert the cable in the cover nut (A), then remove
the cable sleeve as shown.

Replace the metallic shield mesh on the cable as
shown and cut it.

For better shielding results, wrap about 20 mm of
copper or aluminum tape around the cable.
Soldering the leads
Remove about 2 mm of sleeve from the end of each
lead. Apply solder to the ends of the leads, then solder
them to the plug.
For pin numbers and signals, see page 7(EN).

Installing the covers

Insert the plug plate (C) in the cover slot (B).
Make sure the shielding tape is within about 2 – 3
mm from the end of the cover (B). Push in the
cover tabs (B).

Align the cover slot (D) with the plug plate (C) and
push down until the clasps (E) interlock. Securely
tighten the cover nut (A) onto the cover threads.

Insert the locking screws (F) in the holes, then fix
them by inserting the E-ring (G) between the cover
(D) and the plug plate. Bend the holder (H) 2 or 3
times until it breaks off. Following the same
procedure, install the E-ring on the other side.

When the DIN plug is assembled, connect it to the
CONTROL terminal, then affix it with the locking
screws.
