ALARM SET Menu

Setting

Press the MENU button, then press the SHIFT v
button to select "3. ALARM SET".

Press the MENU button.

Press the DATA + (or –) button to select the
desired setting for "BUZZER", then press the
SHIFT v button. Following the same procedure,
select the desired settings for "DURATION",
"RETRIGGER", "MONITOR ZOOM",
"MONITOR STILL" and "VIDEO LOSS".
For more details on each setting, see "Alarm Settings"
below.

Press the MENU button, then press the SHIFT v
button to select "7. EXIT" and press the MENU
button again.

Alarm Settings
BUZZER
ON: The buzzer will sound when there is an alarm
trigger.
OFF: The buzzer will not sound.
DURATION
10SEC, 20SEC, 30SEC, 40SEC, 50SEC, 60SEC:
Duration of the alarm.
CC: The alarm will go on as long as the alarm signal
is received (minimum 10 seconds).
Note
When using the time lapes VCR, always set the
duration in the time lapse VCR to CC.
RETRIGGER
ON: If a second alarm trigger is received during the
alarm operations for that same alarm number, then
it will also be received. The alarm operation is
extended.
OFF: During the alarm operations for an alarm
number, any alarm trigger at the same alarm
number will be ignored.
MONITOR ZOOM (Multi-viewer only)
ON: When an alarm trigger is received, the image
displayed on monitor will zoom in.
OFF: The zoom function will not operate.
MONITOR STILL (Multi-viewer only)
ON: When an alarm trigger is received, the image
displayed on monitor will freeze.
OFF: The still function will not operate.
VIDEO LOSS
ON:
• If the camera input signal is disrupted, the
monitor display is automatically changed to that
camera. (The monitor displays nothing.) The
INPUT SELECT indicator for that camera
flashes and the system outputs a buzzer for 30
seconds. After 30 seconds, the system resets
itself to the original state.
• In the Multi-viewer mode, the 10-split screen is
displayed. The INPUT SELECT indicator for
the camera flashes and an "A" is flashed on the
screen.
Note
The system continues to indicate the VIDEO
LOSS mode for 30 seconds even if the signal
resumes within 30 seconds.
OFF: No alarm
