Charging
Note: Charge the speaker for 2–3 hours before using it for the first time.
1. Plug the mains adaptor into the socket (10) and a wall socket. The function
indicator (1) will shine red while the battery is charging and go out when the battery
is fully charged.
2. Only charge the speaker when it is switched off. If you try to charge the speaker in
playback mode it will take much longer to charge.
Switching the speaker on and connecting
a Bluetooth device
1. Hold down [ ] until the speaker beeps and flashes and the function indicator
flashes blue. This means that the speaker is detectable for other devices.
2. Activate Bluetooth on the device to be paired with the speaker.
3. The speaker will appear in the list of devices on your Bluetooth device as CK308,
select it and connect it to your device (refer to the manual of your device if you are
unsure). Note: If you are prompted to enter a PIN code on your Bluetooth device,
you should enter 0000 (four zeroes). Certain Bluetooth devices may also require
you to approve the connection.
4. The speaker will emit an audible signal and the function indicator will change to
a steady blue.
5. Start playback on the Bluetooth device. The volume level and track can be
changed on either the speaker or on your external device.
6. If the Bluetooth connection is broken or if you wish to change to another device,
disable the Bluetooth function on the first device and hold down [ ►ll ] until the LED
flashes blue. Go through the connection procedure listed above to pair the speaker
with the new device.

Note: If you switch the speaker on and a previously connected device is within range,
the speaker will automatically connect to the device (provided that the Bluetooth
function is activated on the device).
Connecting a device via the 3.5 mm AUX IN socket
1. Connect a 3.5 mm audio cable between your device and the AUX INput (11) on
the speaker. The speaker automatically switches to AUX IN playback mode.
2. Start playback on the device.
3. Adjust the volume level on the speaker or the external device.
Note: The track can be changed using the buttons on the speaker once an external
device is connected via the 3.5 mm socket.
