2.6 - Fog lamps adjustment
• Access to this function is achieved by depressing the SELECT/ENTER key
for 2 seconds in answer to the FOG LAMPS CONFIRM? message on
the display.
Confirmation is given by the message REGULATION FOG LAMPS.
Followed, after 2 seconds, by the message PUT INCLINATION.
Subsequently followed by the tilt degree appearing at that moment on the
Headlight Centering device. Ex. : INCLINATION =3.5%
• To enter a different value, turn the handwheel at the rear of the optic
chamber until the desired tilt appears on the display.
• Confirmation of the selected value is obtained by keeping the
SELECT/ENTER button depressed for 2 seconds.
Remember that the required tilt value is the one indicated by the vehicle
Manufacturer, or that established by the laws in the Country in which the
vehicle is used.
If the tilt setting handwheel is accidentally hit and the set value altered, the
operator would be warned by a ringing signal and by the message
PUT INCLINATION. The display will now visualise the operation required
in order to adjust the fog lamp.
NOTA BENE:
Remember that the fog lamp is only adjusted in a vertical direction:
FOG LAMPS
In this case, the upward pointing arrow indicates that the fog lamp must point
upwards and that to do this, the operator must use the relative adjuster screws.
Adjustment terminates when the message: FOG LAMPS OK appears on the
display followed by a ringing signal.
• Briefly digit the SELECT/ENTER key to return to the main menu and the:
TYPE OF REGULATION item.
It will now be possible to proceed with a new adjustment.
• Keep the ESC/OFF key depressed for 2 seconds to switch off the
headlight centering unit.
