4. To remove the Fender from the Fender Frame, remove the (4) 18mm fasteners
using a 4mm hex wrench. See Figure 2.
5. To re-install the Fender to the Fender Frame, thread the (4) 18mm long
fasteners, included with this kit, through the Fender into the Fender Frame. Using a
4mm hex wrench, tighten until the head of the fastener is seated in the grommet.
Once seated, turn another ½ to 1 full turn.
6. To re-install the Fender & Frame Assembly to the PT, thread the (3) 28mm long
fasteners, included with this kit, through the Fender & Frame Assembly into the
gearbox cover. Using a 4mm hex wrench, torque to 6.0 N-m (4.4 ft-lbf).
