Rear Panel

The following figure shows the ODS-L10 when an
ODS-D55U optional drive unit is installed in the lower
slot. The appearance of the rear panel of the drive unit is
a
(Network) connector
Connect a network cable to enable this unit to be operated
from a web screen using file manager software installed in
a computer.
CAUTION
• For safety, do not connect the connector for peripheral
device wiring that might have excessive voltage to this
port. Follow the instructions for this port.
• When you connect the network cable of the unit to
peripheral device, use a shielded-type cable to prevent
malfunction due to radiation noise.
b Redundant power supply unit slot
An optional XDBK-101 power supply can be installed to
provide redundant power supply functionality. This
provides continuous operation in the event the main power
supply unit fails in systems that require a high degree of
reliability.
For details about adding or exchanging a power supply,
consult your local Sony representative.
c Main power switch
Turns the main power supply On/Off. During normal
operation, the switch is left in the On position, and the
library is switched between operating state and standby
state using the On/Standby button on the front panel.

Note
Always switch to standby state using the On/Standby
button on the front panel before turning Off the main
power switch.
d AC IN connector
Connects to a power supply outlet using the power supply
cord.
e USB connector (SuperSpeed USB (USB 3.0))
Connects the drive unit (optional) installed in this unit to a
computer using a USB cable.
