3. 1 Adjustment of harness, headrest and child safety seat position
IMPORTANT
Proper height of the shoulder harness is such height, where the harness gets into a level slightly
above the child's shoulders.
Make sure that the shoulder harness is properly set and that their height is slightly above the child's
shoulders.
3.1.1 Harness adjustment
Loosen the straps of the harness by pressing the harness release button (I) and pulling the straps (J)
to a length, as needed (Fig. 4).
Note: Do not pull out the pads (F) from the seat's harness.
3.1.2 Eight headrest height adjustment positions
Headrest can be set to five different heights in the Group I mode. There are three more positions,
these being for Group II and III after you remove the shoulder straps and the harness straps.
Press and pull the handle behind the headrest, (Fig. 5). You must make sure that the headrest
corresponds with the height of the child's head, (Fig. 6).
3.1.3 Two position tilting system
This child safety seat can be tilted into two seated positions by pulling on the control plate under
child safety seat's base, (Fig. 7,8). (Only for Group I)
3.2 Securing your child using harness
Loosen the straps of the harness by pressing the harness release button (I) and pulling the straps (J)
to desired position.
Note: Do not pull out the pads (F) from the seat's harness.
Press the central harness buckle (Fig. 9), afterward pullout the harness straps and place them on the
side of the child safety seat (Fig. 10) . Place your child in the safety seat.

is slightly above the child's shoulders (Fig. 6).
Attach the buckle latches together and insert them into the buckle to the position at which you hear
their clicking sound (Fig. 11).
Tighten the harness firmly using the adjustment strap of harness and make sure the harness tension
feel comfortable to the child (Fig. 12).
Notice: Do not twist the harness straps, or do not replace them for others.
3.3 Tightening harness
Notice: Pull on the end of the straps towards you, not up or down (Fig. 12).
Please pay attention to the end of the strap. When traveling (especially away from vehicle) the strap
should always be fixed to the seat cover.
3.4 Checklist to verify the proper placement of your child
Important: NOTICE : For your child's safety please
check that:
•
The child safety seat's harness straps are comfortable, but also
firmly tightened, and that they are adjusted to your child's body.
•
Harness straps are properly adjusted,
•
Harness straps are not twisted,
•
Buckle latches are properly inserted into the central buckle.
