Warnings
· WARNING: Read this user manual care-
fully and keep it for future reference.
Non-observance of this instruction
manual may endanger your child.
· WARNING: You are personally responsi-
ble for the safety of your child.
· WARNING: Never leave your child in or
near the pushchair without supervision.
· WARNING: Only use the fun seat for one
child at a time.
· WARNING: This product is suitable for
transporting children from 12 months
of age and up to 15 kg.
· WARNING: Avoid serious injury from
falling or sliding out. Always secure your
child using the 5-point safety harness in
combination with the crotch strap.
· WARNING: Always hold on to the hand-
le bar of the pushchair when your child
gets into or out of the funseat.
· WARNING: Always ensure that the brake
is on when placing your child in the
pushchair.
· WARNING: Because there is a risk of tip-
ping, no shopping bags or other heavy
articles should be hung on the handlebar.
· WARNING: Ensure that all locking de-
vices are engaged before use.
· WARNING: This product is not suitable
for running or skating.
· The Mutsy funseat is approved according
to the 2003 EN-1888 standard and
the ASTM F833 standard.
Points of attention
· Use only original Mutsy accessories.
· No alterations should be made to the pro-
duct. If you have any complaints or pro-
blems, please contact your supplier or
importer.
· All references in the text to left, right,
front and rear are defined with the
user standing behind the pushchair
· Only use the fun seat for one child at a
time.
· You can use the fun seat in combina-
tion with any Mutsy frame starting from
the 2003 Collection.
· You can raise the baggage net to make
it more compact during storage. It
should be used in the horizontal position.
· The fun seat has a guarantee period of
1 year with normal use. You must save
the purchase receipt.
· If required, you can place the canopy
of the pushchair insert on the fun-
seat. You must put the hood in the
rearmost opening of the attachment
parts. This is shown in figure 4.
· The fun seat has a large baggage net,
which is suitable for transporting up
to 10 kg. This baggage net is not
detachable.
! When the Mutsy Step-Up board is
used in combination with the Funseat
the maximum weight of the load car-
ried in the baggage net is 5 kg
· There is a large beach bag available
that fits in the baggage net.
Maintenance
· The paintwork does not require any main-
tenance but sustains damage from
bumps and abrasions sooner than
chrome does. Please allow for this
during transport in the car.
· The small steering wheel requires little
maintenance. The steering wheel will
continue to turn smoothly if you regu-
larly clean and lubricate the axles using
acid-free Vaseline.
· If necessary, you can spray the other mo-
ving parts with Teflon spray (dry lubri-
cant) and rub this in using a soft cloth.
Contents of the box
· 1 fun seat with preassembled bag-
gage net.
· 1 steering wheel
Assembly (1+2)
· Attach the steering wheel by sliding it
into the tube end. Press down on the
steering wheel until it clicks firmly
into position.
· Position the fun seat using the attach-
ment parts above the universal attach-
ment points on the frame. Press the fun
seat down until it clicks firmly into posi-
tion. Check whether the fun seat is hori-
zontal and the red areas in the universal
attachment point are fully covered.
· Tip: You can position the fun seat in the
frame in either direction.
! The footrests on the fun seat must al-
ways be positioned in front of the
cross connection of the frame.
