1. Install a length of new bubbler line on the bubbler line connector. Use the same length and inner
diameter of bubbler line that is used at the installation site.
2. Add water of the same temperature, density and viscosity as the water at the installation site into
a container. Add water until the water level is approximately the same as the level at the
installation site (minimum 15 cm (6 inches)).
Note: If the water level is much less than the actual level at the installation site, a small error in the
measurement will become a large error at the installation site. If the water level in the primary device is less
than 15 cm (6 inches), calibrate the sensor in a secondary vessel with 15 cm (6 inches) or more of water.
3. Put the bubbler line in the container.
4. Make sure that the bubbler line cannot move.
5. Measure the depth of the bubbler line in the container. Measure from the surface of the water to
the bottom of the bubbler line.
6. Go to the connected instrument and enter the measured depth in the calibration menu.
Maintenance
Multiple hazards. Only qualified personnel must conduct the tasks described in this section of the
document.
Biological hazard. Obey safety handling protocols and wear all of the personal protective equipment
required when handling an instrument that may have come in contact with biological hazardous
materials. Wash and decontaminate the instrument with a disinfectant soap solution and rinse with hot
water before maintenance or shipping.
Clean the instrument
Clean the exterior of the instrument with a moist cloth and a mild soap solution and then wipe the
instrument dry as necessary.
Replace the bubbler line
Replace the bubbler line when the line has a blockage, becomes brittle or has damage.
1. Remove the bubbler line from the bubbler and from the flow channel.
2. Use a moist cloth to clean the outer surface of the bubbler line connector.
Note: Material from the removed bubbler line can remain on the bubbler line connector and prevent a good
connection. Make sure to remove all of the material from the bubbler line connector.
3. Install the new bubbler line. Refer to
Replace the desiccant
Chemical exposure hazard. Dispose of chemicals and wastes in accordance with local, regional and
national regulations.
Do not operate the sensor without desiccant beads or with green desiccant beads. Permanent damage to the
sensor can occur.
Immediately replace the desiccant when it changes to green. Refer to
