System configuration (Connections)

wConnection of a remote operation panel

When an SDI card (AW-HHD870) has been installed
p First, turn off the power of all the equipment before proceeding with the connections.
p Use the AW-PS505A for the AC adapter of the unit.
Connect the DC 12 V OUT socket on the AW-PS505A to the DC 12 V IN socket on the unit using the DC cable provided with
the AW-HE870.
p Connect the CONTROL OUT TO CAMERA connectors [1] to [5] on the ROP with the I/F REMOTE connectors on the unit
through the connecting cables (optional accessory) AW-CA50T8 (or AW-CA50T9 + RS-422/RS-232C converter).
p The distance between the ROP and the AW-CA50T8 (or AW-CA50T9 + RS-422/RS-232C converter) can be extended up to a
maximum of about 1000 m using a 10BASE-T (equivalent to UTP category 5) straight cable.
