Installing the hob

6.6 Inserting and fixing the hob

After you have fitted the seal to the hob,
install the hob on the worktop as follows:
• Insert the hob into the installation opening and
push it down so that the hob is firmly seated in the
worktop.
• Fix the hob with the supplied fixing brackets
by screwing one end of the clamp to the underside
of the hob at the pre-drilled location
and connecting the other end to the underside
of the worktop.

6.7 Connection to the mains supply

The hob may only be connected to the mains
by qualified personnel!
It is recommended that the appliance is connected in compli-
ance with local regulations by an electrician who is a member of
N.I.C.E.I.C. and 1.E.T..
The device must be connected to the mains with a fixed wiring via
a bipolar outlet protected by a 3A fuse and with an all-pole contact
spacing of at least 3mm.
The wires in the mains cable are coloured as follows:
Green & yellow = grounded, blue = neutral, brown = conductive.

Caution!
• Voltage of the heating elements 220-240V
• For each connection, the ground cable
