Maintenance and cleaning

• Repairs or maintenance may only be
carried out by an authorised service
centre with approved parts.
• Disconnect the hob from the gas and
electricity supply before any mainte-
nance, repair or cleaning.
• If the connecting cable is defective,
stop using the appliance immedia-
tely.
The cable may only be replaced by
authorized service personnel.
These safety regulations are not exhaustive.
They are intended to open the view to possible danger potential.
Careful handling of the appliance is therefore indispensable and a basic require-
ment for safe use.
• Always keep the hob clean.
• If sugar or food containing sugar gets
onto the hob, it must be removed
immediately - if possible while still
hot - in order to avoid chemical
reactions that damage the hob and
its components.
• Please do not use any aggressive
cleaning agents or abrasives to clean
the surfaces, as this can damage the
surfaces and control knobs.
