External powering

External power supply (Fig. 1) ensures that your indicator
is constantly powered. This unit is very useful whenever
the indicator is mounted on any inspection device.
A single mains adapter can support more than 100 meas-
uring instruments.
Remove the battery along with the OPTO digital output.
Insert the external power supply (Fig. 2) and connect the
mains adapter (No. 04761054). This adapter must be
ordered separately.
Your electronic indicator is now ready for use.
Should you wish to connect other handheld tools, do not
order the mains adapter but only the external power supply
(No. 01962002). Each item comes with a Y-cable for con-
necting an extra one. However, this cable is unnecessary if
you're working with a single tool only.
