2.2 General description

RECOM RCI compressors comprise a solid cast-iron two-stage unit with low speed and low
operating temperature.
All RECOM RCI compressors are fitted with an industrial three-phase electric motor and an
electromechanical pressure control relay.
The RCI series compressors feature a centrifugal discharge device, which relieves pressure
in the cylinder during pressure build-up, thereby preventing overload of the motor during
start-up and enabling the compressor to achieve high performance.
COMPRAG RECOM RCI series
Entitlement to free handling of faults arising during the guarantee
period is forfeited when:
- No warranty service coupon for the compressor or it is filled out
incorrectly
- No records for the compressor's scheduled maintenance are en-
tered in the compressor's service book
- Unoriginal parts and lubricants are used
