Fault
The machine does not turn on.
The pump is very noisy.
All buttons are  ashing.
The coffee is too cold.
Milk does not froth.
It is not possible to prepare a
cappuccino.
The coffee is dispensed too
fast, no foam builds up.
Coffee is not dispensed or
dispensed only in drips.
Coffee drips from the edges.
Please contact an authorized service centre for any faults not covered in the above table or when the suggested
solutions do not solve the problem.

Possible cause
Machine not connected to the power
supply.
Water tank empty.
Water circuit needs priming.
The porta lter is not inserted for
preheating (Section 5).
Cold cups.
Not suitable milk: powdered milk,
low-fat milk.
The cappuccinatore is dirty.
No steam in the boiler.
Too little coffee in the porta lter.
Coffee ground is too coarse.
Coffee is old or not suitable.
Old or not suitable pod.
One component missing in the
porta lter.
No water.
The grind is too  ne.
Coffee pressed in the porta lter.
Too much coffee in the porta lter.
Knob (4) is open.
Traces of limestone.
The  lter in the porta lter is clogged.
Not suitable pod.
The porta lter is incorrectly inserted
into the brew unit.
The upper edge of the porta lter is
dirty.
The gasket of the boiler is dirty or
worn.
Pod wrongly inserted.
Too much coffee in the porta lter.
Solution
Connect the machine to the power supply.
Re ll with water (Section 4.4).
Prime the circuit as described in Section
4.5.
Preheat the porta lter.
Preheat the cups with hot water.
Use whole milk.
Clean the cappuccinatore as described in
Section 9.
Prime the circuit (section 4.5) and repeat
the procedure described in Section 8.
Add coffee (Section 5).
Use a different blend (Section 6).
Use a different blend (Section 6).
Change the pod.
Make sure that all components are present
and that they have been installed properly.
Re ll with water. (Section 4.4).
Use a different blend (Section 6).
Shake the ground coffee.
Reduce the quantity of coffee in the
porta lter.
Close the knob (4).
Descale the machine (section 10).
Clean the  lter (Section 9).
Change type of pod.
Insert the porta lter correctly (Section 5).
Clean the rim of the porta lter.
Clean the gasket.
Insert the pod correctly. Make sure it does
not come out of the porta lter.
Reduce the quantity of coffee using the
measuring scoop.
