Note the labelling on the packaging and separate the packaging material
components for disposal if necessary . The packaging material is labelled with
abbreviations (b) and numbers (a) with the following meanings:
1–7: Plastics
20–22: Paper and cardboard
80–98: Composites
NOTE
► If possible, keep the original packaging during the warranty period so
that the appliance can be properly packed for returning in the event of
a warranty claim .

Handling and use

This section provides important information about proper handling and operation
of the appliance .

Assembling the appliance

♦ Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all component parts
thoroughly as described in the section "Cleaning and care" .
♦ Set up the appliance in accordance with the safety instructions .
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
► Ensure that the mains cable plug is disconnected before assembling the
appliance .
♦ Pull the mains cable out of the cable compartment
♦ Place the motor unit
♦ Place the juice container
