If:
Disk drives do not respond
Green "power-on" LEDs fail to light
Motorola computer systems require minimal maintenance and care to keep
them operating properly. Once the installation is complete the most
important part of system maintenance is to regularly clean filters and
removable-media devices. Regular cleaning is a customer responsibility.
The CPV5000 and CPV5300 CPUs run a standard BIOS which report
errors by a series of beep sounds or when an error message is displayed to
the screen. Refer to
Table 3-3

If:
The error occurs before the
display device initializes.
The error occurs after the
display device initializes.
Installation
Then:
Ensure that power and data cables are
firmly and properly connected.
Check the AC power cable and check
the AC fuse.
for AMIBIOS error reporting information.
Then:
A series of beeps sound. Beep codes indicate
that a fatal error has occurred. Refer to
3-4
for information about the beep codes.
The error message is displayed. A prompt to
press <F1> can also appear with displayed
error messages.
