Using the rice cooker

The appliance can be used to cook rice and steam other food at the same time.
Experiment with finding the right quantity of water and the right cooking time for
the various foods.

Preparing pretreated rice

You will find pretreated rice on the retail market under the name "Quick cook rice",
"Easy cook rice" or the like.

1) Open the lid by pressing the release
2) Remove the cooking bowl
3) Pour the rice and the amount of water specified on the rice packet into the
SRK 400 A2
Before first using the appliance, fill the cooking bowl
CUP marking "4", and allow to boil for around 30 min (see chapter enti-
tled "Steam cooking" for operation). Now throw this water away, allow the
appliance to cool down and then clean the cooking bowl
Coat the inside of the cooking bowl
