Connections to heat exchanger
Always wear safety apparel, as prescribed by local laws and re-
gulations.
1. Check that the heat exchanger circuit is intact by means
of the valve located on the inlet header. All condensers
are equipped with coil charged with dry air at a pressu-
re of 2 bar.
2. The connection to the refrigeration circuit must be made
from deoxidized and dehydrated copper tube, the diame-
ter must guarantee the minimum pressure drop and the
distribution of the lubricant oil.
3. Welding must be carried out in nitrogen atmosphere with
silver welding alloys, particular care must be exercised in
this phase in order to avoid spreading of the heat on the
existing brazing on the headers.
4. On the delivery line install between the compressor and the
condenser, the anti-vibration devise and the silencer.
5. Create a void in the refrigerant circuit and maintain it for
period of at least two hours.
6. Fill the circuit with refrigerant fluid and check for possible
leaks.
Compressor
WARNING!
An incorrect installation can significantly influence the noise level of the condenser.

Check before start-up

2. Level and sturdiness of the supporting base.
3. Fastening of panels.
4. Foresee adequate space for maintenance and service.
5. Correspondence between the feed voltage and the data
printed on model nameplate
6. Fan blades must rotate freely.
7. Exclude refrigerant leakage.
8. Remove the protective film from casing.

Check after start-up

The initial start-up must be carried out under the supervision
of a qualified technician.
1. Check the rotation of the fan motors, incorrect rotary
motion can negatively influence the model performance.
2. Check that the working conditions (temperatures and pres-
sures) are in compliance to those of project.
WARNING!
The unit must not be operated until the installation in which
it is incorporated has not been confirmed compliant to the re-
gulations of EEC 98/37 directive and in accordance to the na-
tional implementing legislation.
For a correct installation
1. Adequately dimension the pipe-work as to obtain a mini-
mum pressure drop and refrigerant velocity rates that can
ensure oil entrainment.
2. Install on the charge line, between the compressor and the
condenser, both the anti-vibration connection (detail no. 1)
and the silencer (detail no. 2), even when the noise of the
compressor discharge valve is moderate.
3. Avoid directing the air flow against reflecting surfaces or
against surfaces that may increase the noise level of the
condenser.
4. Absolutely avoid exchanging the refrigerant inlet and out-
let headers.
5. Favor an installation site that foresees the minimum ex-
posure to direct sunlight on the coil: so as to prevent con-
densing pressure variations.
6. In all installations rigorously avoid the collision between the
model air flows and air currents coming from the opposi-
te direction.
1. Anti-vibration connection
2. Silencer
3. Oil separator
4. Low pressure gauge
5. High pressure gauge
6. Foresee a minimum 1% height difference between the
outlet header and the liquid receiver
7. Inlet header
8. Outlet header
The diameter of the
Liquid receiver
headers is published in the technical catalogue.
