Cleaning the automatic block clamp
NOTICE
For CEREC MC XL: once a month
For inLab MC XL: Once a week or after every 4th water change
clean andlubricate the block chuck and block clamping nut.
Removing the block clamping nut
WARNING
Risk of injury on milling instruments
Be careful not to brush against the milling instruments with your hand.
1. Press the catch of the milling chamber door and open the door.
2. Unscrew the block clamping nut to be replaced counterclockwise and re -
move it.
1. Use a screwdriver to pry out the chuck gasket.
2. Place the block clamping nut on a rigid support as shown and push the
chuck out.
1. Clean the inside of the block axle with a cotton swab and undiluted etha -
nol (commercially available cleaning alcohol).
2. Clean the inside of the chuck with a cotton swab and undiluted ethanol
(commercially available cleaning alcohol).
