CARE AND MAINTENANCE

5.1 Changing the filter bag

CAUTION!
Before the filter bag is changed the reaction container
must have run completely dry. If necessary, floccules
which are left sticking to the base or edge of the
reaction container can be rinsed easily into the filter
with the aid of the filling hose and pump and a little
recycling water.
If the waste water has slight to medium contamination
the filter bag can be used several times.
To treat heavily contaminated waste water, a new filter
bag should be inserted each time in order to avoid over-
long filter times.
First pull out the mains power plug.
To remove the filter bag, open the upper section and
locate the lid gripper. The filter bag can be removed by
undoing the filter fastening band.
Take out the filter bag, let it dry and dispose of it in
accordance with the legal regulations.
Then lay the fastening band over the opening of the filter
bag and fix it to the opening of the container. Tighten the
fastening band.
Care should be taken to see that the fastening band
surrounds the filter completely to avoid leakage.

5.2 Cleaning of the unit

First pull out the mains power plug.
To clean the unit completely, the reaction container can
be folded up. Both containers can be rinsed out through
the appropriate openings with cold water. The rinsing
water which runs off must be directed to the oil trap.

malfunctions to your device free of charge provided
these were caused by a materials or manufacturing
defect.
Under these circumstances the Kärcher warranty only
comes into force when your dealer completely fills out,
stamps and signs the enclosed reply card when the sale
is made and when you subsequently send the reply card
to the Kärcher company in your country.

your sales outlet or your nearest Kärcher agency.
