The separating agent is homogenised with the waste
water by the action of the agitator.
Fig. 5:
The agitator stops automatically after 15 minutes. It is
possible to switch it on again after 10 seconds.
Depending on the degree of contamination of the waste
water to be treated, the length of stand time can differ
after treatment with RM 345.
Waste water resulting from floor cleaning has to stand
for up to 3 hours after the agitation process has ended,
whereas waste water from parts cleaning should stand
overnight for up to 12 hours.
Whilst the waste water is standing, floccules are being
formed which bind the separated and free oil as well as
dirt particles and sink them to the bottom. By taking
samples during the time the waste water is standing,
a check can be made on the stages of flocculation and
the filter process can be initiated when there is enough
dirt separation.
When the standing phase has ended, the drain plug is
pulled out. The water then goes through the filter and
arrives in the filtrate collection tank.
Waste water which has been treated with RM 846
flocculates as a rule within the 15 minutes of agitation.
WARNING ! Not drinking water
