ASA 80 Plus
The cleaned waste water can be piped back into the
automatic floor cleaner or parts cleaning machine by
means of a pump. It can be used again there without
difficulty. To do this, the filling hose has to be attached
to the filler opening of the automatic floor cleaner or
parts cleaning machine. The three-way valve has to
be moved to position 2. By operating the pump switch,
the recycling water is pumped into the automatic floor
cleaner or parts cleaning machine. When filling has
ended the pump has to be switched off again.
As only a small proportion of the cleaning agent used
is consumed when the waste water cleaning process
is being used, only 10–20 % of the original quantity of
cleaning agent is required in order to arrive at the optimal
concentration.

2. OPERATING CONTROLS

The switch for the agitator and the pump are located on
the upper side of the ASA 80.

3. PREPARING THE UNIT FOR USE

The mobile unit must be set on an even, secure tip-proof
base.
The brakes are to be applied before filling with waste
water.
Unless the cleaned water is going to be used again for
parts or floor cleaning, a connection must be made from
the outflow of the ASA 80 to the oil trap.
Next, connect to mains power plug.
The socket for the plug of the ASA 80 must be freely
accessible. Only a F1-protected (30 mA) socket may be
used.
CAUTION!
When the ASA 80 is being filled or emptied, the
operator must ensure that it is not possible for the unit
to overflow or the pump to run dry.
4. USE OF SPECIAL SEPARATING
AGENT
RM 345 or RM 846 ASF
CAUTION!
When working with special separating agent RM 345
ASF or RM 846 ASF note should be taken of the
instructions on the DIN or EC safety data sheet:
• Do not eat, drink or smoke whilst working.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and the skin.
• Wear protective gloves and protective glasses.
The user has to adapt the amount of separating agent
RM 345 ASF or RM 846 ASF measured out to the
degree of dirtiness of the waste water which is to be
cleaned as a result of parts cleaning or floor cleaning.
The recommended amount of special separating agent
RM 345 ASF is taken from the storage bottle and poured
into the supplied metering flask.
This is then diluted with mains water in accordance with
the specifications (Fig. 2).
The mixture is shaken vigorously for one minute and
then left to stand for 15 minutes until it is fully matured
(Fig. 3.).
If RM 846 ASF is being used, the appropriate quantity of
RM 846 ASF is taken from the available sack.
Recommended dosage:
The amount of RM 345 ASF or RM 846 ASF used
should be determined by a preliminary examination of
the waste water.

The diluted special separating agent RM 345 ASF
solution is left to stand for 15 minutes after having been
mixed and then is poured slowly into the reaction
container while the agitator is running (Fig. 4).
The measured amount of RM 846 ASF is added slowly
to the reaction container while the agitator is running
(Fig. 5).
