2. Boil water and use it to moisten the paper fi lter. The hot
water causes the paper fi lter to lose its own taste and the
coffee fi lter and the coffee pot are preheated.
3. Pour hot water into your favourite cup and preheat it.
4. Pour the water out of the coffee jug.
5. Fill the paper fi lter with the desired amount of freshly
ground coffee.
We recommend 15 g of ground coffee per 250 ml of
water. You will fi nd more information on this in the next
chapter.
6. Leave the boiled water to cool to 92 to 96 °C before pour-
ing it over the coffee powder.
7. Pour only enough water over the coffee powder so that it
can swell up, and then allow it to rest for about 30 seconds.
8. Now slowly and evenly pour the desired amount of water
over the coffee powder in circular movements. The amount
of water in the fi lter cone should be the same for the entire
brewing time of about 2 ½ to 4 minutes.
9. After all the water has passed through the fi lter cone, take
the coffee jug out of the stand and close it with the lid.
10. Pour the water out of your preheated cup.
11. Now you can pour the coffee directly from the coffee jug.
