Instructions
The tub must not be installed outdoors.
The door width of the installation site must be taken into
consideration. The dimensions can be taken from the technical
specifications.
The tub must be installed on a floor that is suited for high-
moisture rooms.
The required minimum floor load is 550 kg/m². The floor must
be levelled properly, i.e. it must be horizontal and even.
The tub must be installed so that the safety areas
are ensured as per E IEC 60364-7-701 / DIN
VDE 0100 T 701.
Because of its design, the tub must have its drain in the floor
area. There is no possible drain connection in the wall.
The drain connection must be made as per the currently valid
DIN 1986/EN12056 and the local regulations.
Prior to installation, inspect the product for transport damages.
After it has been installed, no transport or surface damage will
be honoured.
Only suitable fastening material may be used!
The enclosed screws and plugs are only suitable
for concrete. With different floor structures, the
dowel manufacturer's instructions must be
observed.
The tub can be affixed to the floor using two-component
adhesive (see page 40). In this case, the installation and
processing instructions of the adhesive manufacturer must be
observed.
Gloves should be worn during installation to prevent crushing
and cutting injuries.
If the tub is sealed toward the floor, one of three inspection
openings may not be closed up to be able to detect water
leaks.
After installing the tub, the installer must perform a leak test on
the tub.
The installer must confirm the proper transfer of the installed tub
on the respective page of the installation instructions.

Maintenance Instructions

Do not use silicone that contains acedic acid. If silicone
containing acedic acid is used, the components of the products
will be damaged.
We recommend fungus-resistant sanitary silicone for filling the
gaps between the elements. After a while, the silicone sealant
may become discoloured. Silicone gaps require maintenance
and are not covered by warranty.

Safety Notes
Warning of slippery surfaces.
If the tub is to be used in public areas, the
included anti-slip stickers must be used.
Children as well as adults with physical,
mental and/or sensoric impairments must not use this
shower system without proper supervision. Persons under
the influence of alcohol or drugs are prohibited from using
this shower system.
The shower system may only be used for bathing, hygienic
and body cleansing purposes.
The bath water temperature may not exceed 40ºC.
Do not use electrical devices, such as hair dryers, radios,
etc. near or inside the tub.
The tub must be emptied after every bath.
The product's design must not be altered. Only use original
spare parts.
In order to prevent the tub from tipping over, it must be
secured.
In order to enter the tub properly, follow the visual
instructions on page 46 and enter and exit the tub along
the longer straight side.
The tub was installed properly as indicated by the installation
instructions by HansGrohe AG as well as per the respective
DIN / EN standard. The tub was also inspected for leaks and
proper installation.
