• Remember that when using a tool with
multiple blades, moving one blade may
lead to the other blades rotating.
• When adjusting the machine, make sure
that no fingers are trapped between the
moving blades and fixed parts of the
machine.
• Allow the motor to cool down before you
put the machine away.
• When maintaining the blades, remember
that even if the power source is deacti-
vated, the blades can still be moved.
• For safety reasons, replace worn or dam-
aged parts. Only use original spare parts
and accessories.

Assembly

Mounting the handle
► P. 4, item 2
– Position the bottom part of the handle
bar (4) into the locators on the product
and tighten with screws (9).
► P. 4, item 3
– Push the cable grip (3) onto the handle
bar (2).
– Position the handle bar (2) onto the bot-
tom part of the handle bar and push
through the carriage bolts (10).
– Position the toggle nuts (11) and tighten.
Mounting the collection box
► P. 5, item 4
– Pull the collecting sack (6) over the wire
frame (12) as shown.
– Clip the collecting sack to the wire frame
as shown.

Operation

Check before starting the device!
DANGER! Risk of injury! The
device may only be put into opera-
tion if there are no defects. If a part is
defective it must be replaced before
the device is used again.
Check to make sure the device is in safe
operating condition:
– Check to make sure there are no visible
defects.
– Check to make sure all device compo-
nents are correctly mounted.
Preparation
Set the cutting height
The cutting height can be set to several dif-
ferent heights (Cutting heights: ► Technical
data – p. 33).

– Allow the axles (13) to engage at the
desired height.
Attach the collection box
► P. 6, item 6
– Lift and keep hold of the protective
flap (5).
– Hook in the collection box.
– Make that the collection box is securely
engaged.
