4.2 Mounting the IN40-D03.. and

IN40-D0202K safety switches

The IN40-D0303K and IN40-D0202K safety switches
are not allowed to be mounted flush.
• The IN40-D0303K safety switch is not allowed to be
mounted flush; this type of mounting results in the
categorisation I2A18SP2M as per EN 60 947-5-2.
• The IN40-D0202K safety switch is not allowed to be
mounted flush; this type of mounting results in the
categorisation I2A30SP2M as per EN 60 947-5-2.
• Flush installation is allowable using IN40-D0304K
safety switch: this type of mounting results in the
classification I2A18SP2M as per EN 60 947-5-2.
• Pay attention to safe switch off distance and enable
zone (cf. Tab. 2, Tab. 3 and Tab. 4).
• The minimum distances stated in Fig. 6, Fig. 7 and
Fig. 8 for neighbouring sensors, sensors mounted
opposite and the minimum distances to fixed parts
of the plant and walls must be observed.
