Connection of relay in FLM 40
Applies to use of PKM together with FLM 40.
For PKM to control the pump in FLM 40 the enclosed
relay must be connected as follows:
1. Place the relay in FLM 40 as in illustration.
2. Connect relay positions A1 and A2 to terminal
block -X200 position 11 and 12 in PKM.
3. Connect relay positions 11 and 12 to terminal block
(14) position 3 and 4 in FLM 40.

Program settings
Follow the instructions below to program the heat
pump for operation with PKM 10/20.
1. Start the heat pump.
2. Select "Service" in menu 8.1.1 to gain access to all
the menus.
3. Select the lowest permitted flow temperature in
menu 2.3. This is done to prevent condensation
precipitation. The factory setting is 15 °C.
4. Select PKM in menu 9.2.16. The factory setting is
"Off".
5. Select the cooling curve in menu 2.9.1. The factory
setting is 2.

6. Select the offset for the cooling curve in menu
2.9.2. The factory setting is 0.
7. Select at which outdoor temperature the cooling
should start in the menu 2.9.3. The factory setting is
25 °C.
8. If RG 10 is connected, the required room tempera-
ture should be set using RG 10 and menu 6.0.
Cooling is activated when the room temperature
exceeds the set room temperature by one degree
and that the condition in point 7 is met.
